I’m Dr Emma Brodzinski.

After 16 years of being an arts-in-health researcher and therapist and many years TTC (trying to conceive), I felt called to help other women “turn up the volume” on their own inner wisdom and support them in bringing their babies home.

I’m Dr Emma Brodzinski.

After 16 years of being an arts-in-health researcher and therapist and many years TTC (trying to conceive), I felt called to help other women “turn up the volume” on their own inner wisdom and support them in bringing their babies home.

I know from the inside just how painful it can be.

It was a long and winding road to my own IVF miracles (yes, triplets!!!). My fertility journey found me inventing excuses to avoid friends who were pregnant; midnight googling sessions to try and work out if that twinge I was feeling was a good thing or bad sign; and nights when I would just cry myself to sleep as I felt so lost and alone.

What I learnt from it all was the importance of putting myself in the driving seat.

Going into fertility treatment can feel like entering the sausage factory where you are just another number but there are things that you can do to find control and ways to maximise your chances of success.  The game-changer for me was to listen to my own intuition and develop practices that supported my well-being – emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Self-care is so important. Don’t worry, I am not going to tell you to relax and it will happen (in fact, I totally give you permission to sucker-punch anyone who does say that to you!) but I am going to invite you to nurture your own power and bring in a whole bunch of self-compassion.

The shamanic perspective is to see with the heart.

Your body and soul have knowledge that the mind cannot access and working holistically not only offers a fresh perspective but also allows you to tap into your inner wisdom.  The lessons that through my IVF experience still serve me well today as I learnt to love myself and listen to my body; to trust myself and not just take the advice of others; and to absolutely believe in miracles!
